A.E.C.I. Combined Liability Scheme

Members Benefits

Arachas have been providing combined liability
covers to the members of the A.E.C.I. since 1986.
Over that period our scheme has consistently
offered wider cover than normally available in
the market.

Group Combined Liability

The scheme provides the following benefits as standard:

  1. Public Liability is €6,500,000 any one event and unlimited in the period.
  2. Products Liability is €6,500,000 any one period.
  3. Professional Indemnity is €250,000 any one Claim or loss in the aggregate for that Policy Period.
  4. Employers Liability is €25,500,000 any one event and unlimited in the period.
  5. Commercial Legal Protection cover for Legal Expenses which includes Helpline Services and on-line Employment Manual.
  6. Failure of products (including alarms) up to a limit of indemnity of €2,600,000 any one period and limited to €1,300,000 any one event.
  7. Financial Loss (not accompanied by loss of or physical damage to physical property) up to a limit of indemnity of €130,000 any one period.
  8. Fully complies with requirements of “Safe Electric”.
  9. Sub-contractors working for you in connection with your business can be included.
  10. No height restriction applies
  11. The only excesses applicable are Third Party Property Damage at €320 and each and every Professional Indemnity Claim at €1,000.

Quotations are available for additional covers that may be required (e.g. increased Public Liability)

This scheme is specifically designed and exclusively available to A.E.C.I. members engaged in the electrical industry.

Each member of the Association is issued with their own policy document and annual Certificate of Insurance.

The AECI scheme has enhanced policy benefits and limits than available on a standard electrical contractor’s liability policy at a discounted rate for members.
