Certification Changes for EV Charger Installations

CRU, Safe Electric & SEAI are planning to change the certification (Cert 3 to Cert 1) for Electrical Vehicle Charger Installations.

AECI are in constant contact with Safe Electric in relation to this matter and have requested a meeting / webinar for Safe Electric & SEAI to explain their position on this matter.

Many electrical contractors have expressed their major concerns that this change of contract may involve additional work and in some cases major works which could incur major costs.
